About

The Boston Art Dealers Association (BADA) was formed in 1989 to foster cooperation among the city's contemporary art galleries and to create a unified voice of advocacy for contemporary art in Boston.

In 1999, BADA organized the year-long festival "1999: Celebrating Boston's Artists." In that same year BADA established the Stephen D. Paine Scholarship, which is dedicated to giving financial assistance to undergraduate art students in Boston. Awards are given annually to students entering their senior years at participating schools.

Since its founding, BADA has sponsored numerous events, including panel discussions, gallery talk series and special exhibitions. BADA has supported artists, collectors and donors, speaking out on a variety of issues.

BADA does not accept artist submissions. Artists may contact individual members regarding their submissions policies.

Please frequent our website for updates about future events.
